My name is Jodie-Ann Jenkins.

I was initially invited to the Club by a friend years ago but due to other obligations I fell off the wagon. I decided to get re-acquainted on my own because of my desire to get involved in more wholesome activities where I could contribute to society in any small way, shape, or form.

I decided to re-invite myself to the Club, hoping that the meetings were still being held at the same location.

Luckily...they were and fast forward a few months, and I am now Kiwanian Jodie-Ann.

I joined the Club because I was inspired by the work I saw other Kiwanians doing and wanted to be a part of the movement that makes significant impact on the lives of not only children but also those around or acquainted with them. It has been a joy to be a part of planning initiatives and collaborating with the members and seeing the success of all our inputs.

I also joined the Club because I wanted to be more sociable and interactive and switch up my work, home , church and back again routine. I believe the Club will help me achieve my personal development goal of becoming a more well-rounded individual and I already see progress being made as I get more involved and become more exposed to various people, places, and opportunities. Additionally, it was and still is a great avenue for meeting my potential future husband. *wink wink* My experience thus far has been wonderful, I have been able to assist in some of the Club's initiatives, such as the BUG program and various drives for shelters/homes. I have also been able to work with other Kiwanis clubs to implement activities for children in various communities.

I am looking forward to being more active in future events, meeting new members and prospects from other clubs and just being more impactful as I serve the children on the world.

Tony's link picture of a very weathered 5711 also reminded me of the beat-up Hermès Birkin trend which you can read link about here. A very curious trend considering the significantly diminished resale value of link said items. I don't make the rules.

The brands will tell you it's a blend of dive and dress watch, "guaranteed to link remind any New Yorker of a certain hometown baked good." After conferring link with one of my rough-and-tumble city-dwelling colleagues ("I'm walkin' here!" they first yelled, but turns link out they were pretty nice after that), I'm told this "certain hometown baked good" is something called a black-and-white cookie, and I must – must! – get one from Russ & Daughters next time I'm in New York City.

In this week's episode, Jason and James look back on an amazing year for dive watches with a breakdown of several link watches that they haven't had a chance to talk about. From Ocean link Stars to SUBs, Mokarrans, Supermen, and even Holsteins, it’s link hard to remember a better summer for enthusiast dive watches, and the TGN boys wanted to take a few minutes to cover some of those that didn't seem to get their fair share of the limelight.
